Specific Objective

Contribute to arresting the loss of terrestrial and marine biodiversity, and to maintain and reactivate protected areas across the Italia-Malta programme territory.

Thematic Objective

Preserve and protect the environment and promote resource efficiency, in alignment with EU environmental policy and the Interreg Italia-Malta Programme 2014-2020.

Investment Priority

Protecting and restoring biodiversity and soil and promoting ecosystem services including through Natura 2000 and green infrastructure.
